We get daily emails at school with a little quote on it every day. This one was on yesterday’s email and it just spoke to me. This was my life. This is my life. I am blessed to have my husband, my son, my home, and my happiness, but for a while it seemed like some of those were not even a sure thing. I had some very dark days – crying when the mail came because another bill was due, secluding myself so I didn’t have to explain again that we didn’t have any money to do this or that, put it all out there on here…
Yeah, there was darkness.
But I was able to pick myself up, dust myself off, and continue on.
Persevering.
And for that I am proud.
Told you it would look different once you had a job and routine again.
Still so happy for all three of you!
Its been a long road and I’m not about to forget how far we’ve come, but yes – you were right, and I am so thankful!
It is great feeling to be on the other side of things and look back with just amazement that you made it through. So very happy for your family! I can’t wait to get to that point. <3
